The Science of Posture Analysis: Evidence-Based App roaches for Health
                Professionals

Health professionals can use a range of approaches to assess and treat FHP. One
approach is to perform a postural analysis to identify any deviations from the normal

alignment of the spine and to assess muscle imbalances. This can involve a range of
tests, including observation, palpation, and range of motion testing.

Treatment for FHP typically involves a combination of corrective exercises, ergonomic

modi cations, and manual therapy. Exercises that focus on strengthening the muscles
of the neck and upper back can help to improve posture and reduce pain. Ergonomic
modi cations, such as adjusting the height of a computer monitor or using a
supportive chair, can also help to reduce the strain on the neck and shoulders. Manual

therapy, such as massage or chiropractic adjustments, can help to address any
structural abnormalities that may be contributing to FHP.
