Static photogrammetry involves taking a series of photographs of a patient in a static
position, such as standing or sitting. These photographs are then analyzed to

determine the position and alignment of body segments. The advantage of static
photogrammetry is that it allows for a detailed analysis of posture, including the
alignment of the spine and the position of the pelvis. Static photogrammetry can also
be used to measure the range of motion of various joints, which can provide important
                information about joint function.

Advanced systems such as Posture Pro can also estimate joint and disk loads and
predict local degenerative joint disease in the future.
