The Science of Posture Analysis: Evidence-Based App roaches for Health
                Professionals

These are some of the most common
techniques used in posture analysis. By
                using a combination of these
                techniques, health professionals can
                accurately evaluate a patient's posture

and identify any abnormalities that may
need to be addressed. It's important to
note that no single technique is perfect,

and each has its limitations. Therefore,
                health professionals should use a
combination of techniques to get a
more comprehensive view of a patient's
                posture.

                     Visual Inspection
                Visual Inspection

Visual inspection is the most common
and readily available method of posture

                analysis. It involves observing the
                individual from different angles and
positions to assess their posture. The
observer looks for any deviations from
the normal alignment of the body, such

as excessive curvature of the spine or
                uneven shoulders. Visual inspection can
be done in a clinical setting or in real-life

                situations like work or sports
                environments.
