Taking the pictures
Camera
Virtually any digital camera will work. We process the images at a resolution of 640x480
so your camera should be set to that output. Larger resolution images just take up file size.
They will be reduced to 640x480 by the Posture Pro software. So again, just use 640x480.
For accuracy, place the camera on a tripod that can be leveled. For accurate pictures, the
camera must be level when the pictures are taken.
Make sure the flash always fires. Even if there appears to be enough light, fire the flash.

or any color the patient is not wearing.
Picture Quality
It’s important that we receive quality pictures. Not only for the processing software, but also
for your report. You want it to look as best as possible.
We will work with you to help you get the best quality from your photos.
On the following pages are some common photo mistakes. If you can avoid these you won’t
have to redo the exam.
Remember to look at your photos with a critical eye.
