The following are the landmarks typically used in pos-
ture analysis
AP VIEW
HEAD: Center of eyeballs or tips of ears
SHOULDERS: A/C joints
HIP: ASIS
LATERAL VIEW
HEAD: External Auditory
Meatus
SHOULDER: Center of
Shoulder
HIPS: Center of the hip, or
the Greater Trochanter
Analysis Procedure (MANUAL MODE)
1. On the body model, click on the area to measure.
2. Click on the two points being used. NOTE: Work from Left to Right side of the
screen.
3. After the second point is clicked, a line representing the angle will be gener-
ated.
4. Repeat this procedure for all points in the AP analysis. See the next page for
tips on analyzing posture in the lateral view.
