Professionals
The 20th century saw signi cant advancements in posture analysis, with the
development of new technologies and techniques. In the 1920s, the rst X-ray
machines became available, allowing healthcare professionals to study the skeletal
structure of the body and identify abnormalities that could contribute to poor posture.
In the 1950s, the use of electromyography (EMG) allowed for the measurement of
muscle activity during movement, providing insight into the relationship between
posture and muscle function.
Today, posture analysis is a well-established eld of study, with numerous techniques
and tools available to healthcare professionals. Digital posture analysis systems were
rst introduced in 1994 by Joseph Ventura DC and have withstood peer-reviewed
scrutiny to become the standard in rapid and accurate posture analysis
