                This glossary provides an overview of the key terms and concepts used in posture
                analysis studies. These terms are essential for health professionals in understanding
                the scienti c evidence-based approaches to posture analysis.



                Alignment: The position of the body in relation to the gravitational line. Proper
                alignment is essential for good posture.



                Anterior Pelvic Tilt: A posture where the front of the pelvis is tilted forward, causing the
                lower back to arch excessively.



                Center of Gravity: The point in the body where the weight is evenly distributed, and the
                body is in balance.



                Kyphosis: Excessive curvature of the upper back, resulting in a rounded back.


                Lordosis: Excessive curvature of the lower back, resulting in an exaggerated arch.



                Muscle Imbalance: A condition where some muscles are too tight, while others are too
                weak, leading to postural and functional problems.



                Postural Analysis: The process of evaluating the alignment of the body and identifying
                any deviations from proper posture.


                Postural Deviation: Any deviation from the ideal alignment of the body, which can lead
