In addition to identifying speci c biomechanical issues, posture analysis can also
provide health professionals with important information about a patient's overall

health and well-being. For example, poor posture can be a sign of underlying health
problems, such as obesity, diabetes, or heart disease. By identifying these issues early
on, health professionals can work with patients to develop appropriate treatment plans
that address both the underlying health problems and the associated postural issues.

Furthermore, posture analysis is an evidence-based approach to healthcare. There are
numerous studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of posture analysis in identifying
and treating postural problems. For example, a study published in the Journal of

Physical Therapy Science found that posture analysis was effective in identifying
muscle imbalances and joint restrictions in patients with chronic low back pain.
