It's very easy to explain the exam results
using Posture Pro. The report shows the
patient the points that were selected and the
results. A typical report of findings might go
like this . . .
"Mrs. Smith you see these numbers?
You know what these numbers should be,
they should be zero.
We know that normal posture is the head
level, shoulders level, hips level, etc.
These numbers should be zero and they
aren't. We need to find out why they aren't all
zeros. This could be happening from a mus-
cle imbalance, a skeletal distortion or both.
Most likely it's a combination of the two.
We have other exams in our office that
can help pinpoint where the problem is and I
have the skill and experience to correct this.
We take new patients on Tuesdays and Fridays. Which day is better for you?"
59 Seconds Screening Mode
What's Your Posture Number tm
The purpose of a spinal screening is to
give just enough information to show that a
problem exists and further examination is
necessary. You can do this easily with Posture
Pro. By examining only the head position as it
relates to the shoulder, you can measure the
amount of forward head travel and then relate
it to other problems down the spine, due to the
compensatory nature of the spine.
To do this, bring in a lateral picture as usual. Perform an exam on the cervical area.
RIGHT click on the head of the lateral mannequin. This causes the dual skeletal images
to appear. These images show all the points used in a full posture evaluation, and how a
line drawn through them should look. You use this image to explain the subject's results
and to show all the points that would be used in a full analysis. When combined with the
Quick Report feature, a powerful and quick screening exam can be achieved.
