system comprised of almost 200 pages of information and a
built-in exam section. Completion of the material and a passing
mark of 80% and above qualifies you to the title of Certified
Posture Professional* and you will be added to our national

The purpose of the material is
to establish a standard in the analysis and treatment of Forward
Head Posture in anticipation of school districts across the U.S.
adding FHP to scoliosis exams and then needing a referral
source.
Learn detailed information about
posture, how it's controlled by the body and how it's affected
by external sources. Review all the latest research concerning
both adult and youth posture. This might be the most detailed

Forward
Head Posture and the Tweet Generation: Problem/Solution
As a
health care professional you have most likely noticed that
patients at a younger and younger age are presenting in your
office with forward head posture. Study after study in
peer-reviewed journals have shown the direct correlation between
poor posture and poor health and performance, including early
death.
Two
recent studies have verified what you have noticed in your
office. Children between the ages of 4 and 12 are developing
forward head posture at any alarming rate. In two of the studies
more than 30% of the children examined showed positive for
forward head posture. The reasons for this dramatic increase I
believed to be twofold: technological changes and peer pressure.
Just within the last generation there have been advances in
technology that has allowed the creation of devices that places
your head in a forward head posture position. Devices such as
cell phones for texting, handheld video games, and the
widespread use of notebook computers are just a few of the
technology changes that contribute to forward head posture.
Every
state in the union requires scoliosis screening at the grade
school level. Historically studies have shown that only 4% of
the children examined by the school nurse will trigger a
referral for a more detailed exam for possible scoliosis. No
school district or state requires a similar exam for forward
head posture, even though studies show that over 30% of the
children will trigger a positive exam.
My
approach to this problem has two parts. Part one is education,
at both the state and local level. Putting together all of the
materials I have on the problem of forward head posture and our
children I believe I can create a compelling case for the
inclusion of forward head posture exams at the school level. The
school nurse, or an outside healthcare practitioner such as
yourself can quickly, in as little as 20 seconds, determine if
it additional exams are required for a positive forward head
posture exam. I created the new laser guided forward head
posture screening system specifically for that purpose.
But
before I began the education process at the state and local
level, I have to be sure that health care practitioners in the
area fully understand forward head posture, its diagnosis and
effective treatment. I have to create a national database of
practitioners that I know can diagnose and treat at a consistent
and predictable level.
To that
end I have created a learning system designed to certify health
care practitioners in the art and science of diagnosing and
treating forward head posture and. I'm calling this system
Posture University. It's an online type learning system that
takes you through all of the necessary steps from education to
practical application. The software has a built-in testing
system that when completed successfully will allow you to use
the title certified posture professional and be included in our
national database of certified doctors. You will also need to
pass a test with me, live over the Internet that ensures me that
you understand how to perform a forward head posture exam, and a
re-exam to track progress.
Both
components are necessary to ensure that certified posture
professionals around the country, and around the world can be
relied upon to provide rock-solid diagnosis and treatment.
We have
put a lot of time and resources into the creation of the
educational material. We absolutely guarantee you will learn a
tremendous amount of new information. As a special bonus we have
also included some new marketing materials to show you how you
can use your new found knowledge and certification to target
other types of new patients in your area, such as pregnant
women, athletes, and people who have gained and lost a lot of
weight.
The cost
of Posture University, including the bonus marketing material,
is only $495. After purchase you can immediately download the
software and begin your new journey.
What I
am proposing to do is not a sprint but a marathon. It will take
time to convince school districts to add forward head posture to
its scoliosis exam routine. Once they do that however, the
opportunities for referrals will be heavy as the school
districts look for the proper health care professional to refer
to. I want that referral to go to you. But we have to create a
valid database of professionals I can count on to deliver.

Why all this emphasis on Posture Analysis and Correction?
A recent review of 1,500 posture exams
revealed, across all age and gender groups, a Posture Number of 10 or above was
found in 96.4% of the patients.
A Posture Number of 10 means this for the average patient:
- About 1 inch of forward head travel
- Weight of the head effectively doubles
- Cervical spine discs and joints feel an increase of 21 Newtons of
downward force
- Muscles of the back of the neck feel an additional 26 lbs of tension
- Pelvis tilts forward 4 degrees
- Lumbar spine shear forces reverse direction
- Hamstrings stretch
- Quads relax
These forces attack the joints and muscles leading to increased "Stress on the
Machine" and eventual structural damage.
Average Posture Number in the database review was 17. This means most people
coming into your office are probably experiencing symptoms related to their
posture.
Musculoskeletal issues related to Posture is rapidly becoming an epidemic. The
good news, this trend can be stopped and reversed without drugs or surgery by a
properly qualified and trained health care professions.
Posture University teaches you all this and
more. You will learn how do do successful spinal screenings, and how to
incorporate posture into your exams, ROF and re-exams.
We will also teach you how to market your
services to athletes, pregnant women, weight loss patients and to the youths in
your area through their parents.
What is the Purpose of the Certification
Program?
While Posture University is a valuable tool
for anybody wanting to learn more about the importance of posture to health and
performance, the long range goal is to provide a certification process for an
international database of healthcare professionals qualified to address the
detection and correction of Forward Head Posture.
